The same sites that offer spectacular snorkeling also provide the ideal setting for individuals wishing to discover the wonders of the undersea world through scuba diving. Because these sites originate from the beach, you are introduced to this new sport in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
After being transferred to the dive shop, your day is divided into three easy steps. First, your instructor provides a brief orientation. Second, you go down to the beach and in shallow water put on the diving equipment. There, you'll learn to use scuba equipment and get accustomed to your new surroundings. Third, once the instructor feels secure with your knowledge and comfort level with the equipment, your instructor will lead you on a one-tank dive adventure in the ocean to get a close-up look at this remarkable underwater world. Your dive may be either off the beach or off a boat, depending on water conditions that day.
It's an experience you will certainly never forget. The St. Lucia tour price includes transfers, lunch, beverages, and all scuba equipment required. Wet suits are not included; if you need one, it can be rented for approximately $10 US. In addition to a great experience, the skills you acquire during your dive adventures may count toward PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver certifications!
